Dr. Currie: What would you tell someone if they were considering back surgery?
Theron: Honestly, I would have to tell them that they needed to come see you first. I wouldn't have thought it would work, to be honest with you, because of things that I've done in the past. And I thought, "Why not? I've done everything else extreme to have back surgery." But I would definitely refer somebody to see Arkansas Spinal before I would recommend them to a back surgeon that I'd used also.
Dr. Currie: Thank you. I thought of something else, as well. Back surgery, going in and doing that, going through the recovery process. How is that different than going through this program?
Theron: It's incomparable. There's no comparison. Surgery is not fun to begin with, but the recovery time from it was what was the worst for me mainly because it was through the holiday season, and I missed my little girl's vacation. Her dad had to stay home in bed for five or six weeks trying to get healed back up, making sure I didn't do anything to damage the work that they had done and it's just a long, drawn out period. In the amount of time that it took for you guys to go in and make me start feeling better was half of the time that it took me just in recovery of the surgery. You can't even put a price tag on that. And you consider price of surgeries? They're unbelievable. There's no way I would ever refer somebody to have surgery unless they had, at least, come talk to you first and seen what you all could do for them.
